A beautiful and unique piece. A gorgeous half circle board combined with the stunning texture of the wood’s bark. This board will take the centre stage on any table. Perfect for serving everything from antipasti, cheeses, party nibbles or just about anything else you can think of!
Named after the place Cheryl and William chose to call home this signature board holds a very special place in their hearts. William and Cheryl’s home in Ballyshane has provided much of the inspiration for their work. Their gorgeous cottage, surrounded by beautiful forestry is filled with the most incredible large bowls, boards and vessels all produced by William.
Material: Irish Beech.
Size: 35 x 26 x 2.5 cm (available in large, medium and small).

Ballyshane boards are made by hand in our studio in Co. Carlow from 100% sustainable Irish Hardwoods. Each board comes with a traceability tag that indicates where in Ireland the timber for your board came from.

This board is great for slicing and chopping but is also perfect for serving up just about anything you can think of we love using ours to serve bread or a gorgeous selection of cheeses!
This board has the special honour of being named after a place that is very special to William and his father. William’s father always harboured a passion for woodturning, coming from five generations of master craftsmen. Together, they’d spend hours discussing the merits of different techniques and types of wood. Using these cherished memories, William and Cheryl created Ballyshane. A stunningly simply board it is sure to be invaluable in any home and will take the centre stage in any kitchen or on any table.

We are getting asked more and more for wood slices.
